The Grand Day Parade begins at Noon on Sunday. The parade route starts at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and runs along 3rd St. SW to Oak Ave. SW, turns left and runs straight down Oak Ave. SW to the Montgomery Public Library and finally heads north on 1st Street in Historic Downtown Montgomery. The parade averages around 90 minutes to 2 hours. Arrive early to cheer on the Bun Run and Kids' Race participants. The Grand Day Parade is well attended so consider arriving early.

The parade will be remembered as one of the most ambitious and successful efforts in this line in the history of this part of the state. It would be at once unfair and unethical to select any special floats or particular mention, but it may be said that the combined result was decidedly impressive. The presence of mayors, city council members, fire department groups, businesses and other from neighboring towns and Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Boy Scout Drum corps from New Prague, the football teams, school children, the "Bohemian girls" and other sections of the parade did much to show the wide scope and appeal of the Kolacky Day project.
